Here is a collection of some of my recently re-developed negatives from the 1989 World Gymnastics Championships, held in Stuttgart, Germany.
I was using an ancient, all manual, Pentax camera. It was the first competition I had used this particular camera, so most of the pictures are crooked, blurry, bizarre, dark, grainy, ugly and strange. They are definitely amateur in quality...but hey, I was 13 then, and my main priorities were to just observe the competition, meet people, and to have a good time. The photography bit was just extra bonus for me.
As with all of my photos here at worldgymrank, feel free to copy, duplicate, post, or do whatever you want with them. If you make any money off of them, don't forget to send me a check. And a photo-credit is always nice.
So, have fun looking at the pics! I've tried my best to ID all of the gymnasts. All you need to do is right click on the photo, select properties, and it should tell you the name of the gymnast in its file name.
